EVERY DAY IN JAIL MATTERS. LET'S DROP JAIL IN YOUR CASE—ALL OF IT, OR THE MOST DAYS POSSIBLE.
Happy New Year!!
I was reflecting on the highs and lows of 2020—the year that has taken our introspective existential tendencies to whole new heights. One big takeaway for us, I feel, is that we've entered a new phase of parenthood—like we've graduated to the grad school of parenting. I would say the same thing about marriage :)
This year has been one where everyone can't wait for it to be over, understandably so. But it's also been a very deeply meaningful year of course with the birth of Julia and the precious intimate time we got to spend together as a family. In a lot of ways, I believe we will look back fondly at this trying year and cherish the unique amount of time we got to spend together at home. This year has confirmed that no matter what is going on in the world—whether there are restrictions on our freedom to see and hug our loved ones, to travel, to make a living, whatever the case may be—there is no place I'd rather be than right here with you and the kids in our house.
I greatly look forward to 2021 where we as a family, a country, and world ideally can collectively reclaim some more normal and prosperous times again.
But even while difficult times persist, as long as you're by my side, I remain the luckiest guy alive.
To my beautiful, perfect wife: I love you and wish you Happy New Year!
