DA Drops 12 of 13 Charges, Client Released From Jail

Client was being held in custody on 7 open cases. There were 13 total charges: three counts of Health & Safety Code 11377(a)(possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine); four counts of Health & Safety 11364 (possession of paraphernalia); a Penal Code 647(f) charge (public intoxication); and five Penal Code 602 (trespassing) charges. In negotiations, the DA agreed to dismiss everything except for one misdemeanor count of trespassing. Client was released that day from jail.
