DISMISSED - Penal Code 240 and 242 Assault and Battery Charges Dropped, Client Released from Jail

Assault and Battery Charges Dismissed, Client Released from Jail

Client was being held in custody on five charges: Penal Code 242 (battery), Penal Code 240 (assault), and three counts of Health & Safety Code 11364 (possession of paraphernalia). In our negotiation, the DA agreed to dismiss all charges in exchange for Client pleading No Contest to a single count of Penal Code 415(2)(Disturbing the Peace with Loud or Unreasonable Noise), which is a less serious charge on one's record. Client was released from jail that day.
